Step 1
The plumber will first measure the length of the stainless steel union dimensions with all three parts together. After figuring out the right location for installation, two points are selected at the same distance apart as the length of the union.

Step 2
After the marking is done, the plumber will place a tube cutter at one of the marked points until the pipe is cut through. The same procedure is repeated on the second marked point.

Step 3
The cut section obtained from the above section is removed and a wrench is used to loosen the pipe from the coupling. The cut section of the pipes are threaded together.

Step 4
The removed pipes are screwed by hand into the couplings and tightened by using a wrench.

Step 5
Last and final the union’s ends are attached to both ends of the pipe and are tightened by a wrench.
