Step 1

Step 2
After the marking is done, the plumber will place a tube cutter at one of the marked points until the pipe is cut through. The same procedure is repeated on the second marked point.

Step 3
The cut section obtained from the above section is removed and a wrench is used to loosen the pipe from the coupling. The cut section of the pipes are threaded together.

Step 4
The removed pipes are screwed by hand into the couplings and tightened by using a wrench.

Step 5
Last and final the union’s ends are attached to both ends of the pipe and are tightened by a wrench.
